If you are one of those who are suffering from skin irritation after threading, here are a few tips that can help you.

Most people feel a burning sensation on the area that is threaded… This sensation can be reduced by applying ice or cold water to the area.

If you don’t have a cooling gel, you can apply a moisturizer or aloe vera gel after threading. This will soothe the skin and reduce irritation. Make sure you apply the get or moisturizer gently as rubbing it harshly can increase irritation. Also, don’t rub the area around the eyebrow after threading is done.

Don’t apply makeup for at least an hour after threading because it will close the pores and aggravate the problem. When the skin stays in its natural state, it reduces the risk of irritation.

Avoid exposing the skin around the eyebrow to sunlight as it could increase the itching and burning sensation. If you must go out, wear sunglasses to avoid exposure to direct sunlight.
